You always seem to make me smile

I hide my face from you

I laugh, I cry, but all the while

Profess my love for you

You always lend a helping hand

When I need you to

But when you are in high demand

I cannot talk to you

You're always busy or at work

When I need you most

You may consider me a jerk

But sometimes, you're a ghost

I never call you at your home

Because you're never there

You're at work and I'm alone

Even though you care

My love for you will never slump

It will never fail

But I'm always in the dumps

When you're never there

I love you, Mom, with all my heart

And I always will

But when I'm home we're still apart

You must know how I feel

I know that you have bills to pay

And work that you must do

But stop a moment, I must say

That I do love you

Please forgive me for my words

I hope they don't hurt you

But think next time you kill two birds

About the stone you threw

What goes up always comes down

Thats why I'm feeling blue

But once again, remove your frown

Because I still love you
